It’s no secret that Beppe Iachini has already smashed the record for most consecutive days on the Palermo bench under the tempestuous Maurizio Zamparini at 667. A long while back he surpassed the number two on the list – the legendary Francesco Guidolin who lasted 491 days in his first stint on the Rosanero hot seat.
The question is how long can Iachini possibly go before Zamparini inevitably gets the urge to change things up? As usual, Beppe will probably be near the top of the odds list as the Serie A season comes closer, but let’s all take in what a remarkable feat the hat-wearing tactician has achieved thus far.
